No matter our
age or our ability, each of us at Little Flower has something
unique and useful that he/she can do to make our parish stronger
in faith, have greater impact, and be more financially stable.
The mission of the Fundraising Committee of Little Flower
is to supplement our budget by implementing programs that
not only offer the opportunity to raise money but also can
foster friendships and strong bonds within the Little Flower
Community. Our parish community is a treasure that we can
so easily take for granted, and we wish to do our part to
support and maintain our parish.
Whether you save
aluminum cans, purchase Together We’re Better certificates
or donate items to the annual garage sale and auction, be
assured that, no matter the size, all contributions are greatly
appreciated. In order to keep parishioners up to date, fundraiser's
will fall under two categories, seasonal and ongoing. As
new programs are implemented we will post them and, as further
information is acquired for upcoming events, we will update
particular items.
Please
consider participating in at least one or more of these programs.
Further questions can be referred to Deanna
Shelton or Mary
Troll.
We are looking forward to the events scheduled for the upcoming
year, and we welcome your ideas, your advice, and your help
in making the Little Flower Fundraising Committee a huge
success!

Printer Cartridges
Most every home and office has at least one
printer for their computer systems, many have more than one.
Have you ever asked yourself what happens to those empty toner
and ink cartridges. Did you know that by sending them to Little
Flower School you are accomplishing two things. First, you
are helping the environment by recycling. Those little cartridges
takes 1000's of years to decompose. Second, you help the school
raise much needed funds for various things. Need more information,
just click on the following links and learn more all about.

Recycle
Challenge
The Recycle Challenge
is a new program sponsored by Anheuser-Busch. The program
not only offers us an opportunity to easily raise money,
but it also provides the children of our parish with important
environmental lessons. In May, our parish was responsible
for the recycling of 840 pounds of aluminum and, in July,
580 pounds. We know we can do more. Containers are available
upon request. Our next pick up date will be September 30th
through the October 8, 2003. Please remember to clean and
crush your cans.
“Together
We’re Better” Certificates
If you shop, dine
out, or need a gift item please consider first purchasing
gift certificates through our parish program. Order forms
are sent out with the children monthly, but certificates
are also available for sale after weekend masses at the north
entrance of the church. This is one of the easiest ways to
raise money; however, parish participation is vital to its
success.
“OneCause” On-line
Shopping
On this page,
you will find a hyperlink to “OneCause,” an on-line
shopping program with rewards much like that of the Seton
Program. Our parish is registered with this company. Please
check it out.
Additional Programs
Please save and
return to school General Mills Box Tops, Campbells Soup Labels,
Tyson Chicken School Houses, and Ink Jet Cartridges. And
remember to save newspaper, junk mail and used paper for
our paper recycle bins, located at the north side of the
school.
