The first issue of The Spirit of LIttle Flower was dated December 1983.  An article on the front page said, "The purpose of our publication is to supply news and information to parishioners and other interested in the welfare of our parish... our emphasis will be on the interests and activities of these people."

That philosophy still continues to this day.  Although the means and mechanics of producing the first and the current issue of The Sprit of LIttle Flower has changed dramatically, the precept described above has not.

If you would like to contribute an article for the newsletter please send it to Spirit staff. You do not have to be an authority in journalism to contribute to this publication, only have a desire to carry on the tradition of the first editor, Mr. John Stewart
